I’d like you to think about the following quotation and answer my questions in the comment box.
Everyone is a genius. But, if you judge a fish by its ability to climb a tree, it will spend its whole life believing that it is stupid. – Albert Einstein.
1. Who is Albert Einstein anyway, and why should we pay attention to what he says? ( Look on line if you aren’t sure who he is.)
2. What do you think Einstein was trying to tell us in his quote?
3. How does this advice apply to you?
4. What are your strengths and how could you use them to be successful in life.
5. Why do people often think about what they can’t do or what they’re not good at doing instead of what they can do and what they’re good at doing?
I’m looking forward to reading your comments. They are usually so insightful.
If you have finished the questions, please do the 20 minutes of reading for today. Books should be in the drawer.

Sorry I’m away today. I’m not well. Most of you have complete all the work I gave you up to now. Please do the following.
1. Choose one photo and tell me in about 100 words what might have happened before the picture was taken and what might happen after the picture was taken. Give lots and lots of details.
Use a graphic organizer to outline your writing.
Make up people, their names, their ages, places, times, events etc. Use your imagination. Let it go wild! I look forward to reading what you have written.
2. Take time to organize your notebooks and update your agenda.
3. Read for 20 minutes. Your books are in the teachers desk. Ask if you can have them.
Hope to see you tomorrow, but just in case I’m not in I’ll post tomorrow’s work on the blog later tonight.
